Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Under supervision of Director for Communications and Markrting, the intern will:

  • Support the updating and maintenance of digital platforms (website, newsletters, blog).
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing and outreach activities.
  • Develop and schedule content for social media and promotional channels.
  • Design marketing and communication materials (brochures, presentations, infographics, flyers).
  • Support preparation of client-facing materials, pitches, and meeting notes.
  • Participate in client meetings, demonstrations, and stakeholder engagements as required.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Monitor analytics for communication and marketing campaigns and prepare reports.
  • Assist in event promotion, live coverage, and post-event visibility.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication and marketing outputs.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to the team.
     

 

Education & Experience Requirements

Essential:

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Media, Public Relations, ICT, or a related field is required.

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, digital outreach, and client engagement.

Desirable:

  • Prior exposure to customer service, sales, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools is an advantage.

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
  • Persuasive and articulate, with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Active listening and professional interpersonal skills.

Marketing Skills:

  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and brand positioning.
  • Ability to support promotional campaigns and outreach activities.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and audience targeting.
  • Basic knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.


Digital & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Basic video editing and photography skills.
  • Social media management and scheduling tools.
  • Awareness of AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva AI, transcription tools) for responsible content support.
  • Ability to learn new systems and digital platforms quickly.
